Unique Wood-Themed Residence: A Symphony of Organic Design

The designers drew inspiration from organic forms to create a mansion that spans three floors. The common areas, including the living room, kitchen/dining room, and tea room, are centrally located, while the master and secondary bedrooms flank either side. This unconventional layout extends the line of sight and fosters a free-flowing spatial experience.

The entrance of the house is adorned with wooden carvings and driftwood decorations, setting a simple yet solemn tone. The dark faux antique marble flooring extends to the living and dining room, highlighting the poised demeanor of the space. Instead of a traditional sofa, unadorned wooden chairs have been used, creating a simple, refreshing arrangement. With windows on three sides, the interior relies minimally on artificial lighting, further enhancing the natural ambiance.

The designers have also incorporated a Japanese tea room, complete with a solid wood table platform, rich-colored wooden table and chairs, and traditional fireplace. The Japanese window lattice and wooden beams surround the fireplace, emanating a sense of Japanese nostalgia. The open kitchen and dining area feature a wooden ceiling structure, grey countertop, and walls, creating a blend of rustic and industrial aesthetics.

The master bedroom showcases three types of wood materials, with grey walls introducing stability. An attic is built into the elevated ceiling design, further demonstrating the designers' ingenious attention to detail. The diverse appearances of wood throughout the house illustrate the subtle qualities and nuances of understated colors.
